Lendlease had a busy midday on their hands, and fourteen platters of sandwiches, wraps, and baguettes were the answer. The order landed at their Barangaroo office right on the lunch window, which is exactly when that kind of volume needs to be ready to go.
The mixed platter format worked well for a team eating together. Wraps and baguettes sitting alongside the classic sandwich options meant people could move through quickly without a queue forming around one end of the table. Four additional sandwich platters gave the setup enough coverage that nobody was waiting on a second pass.
By the time the last platter was opened, the first was already half gone. That kind of pace tells you the timing was right.
