We’re Feedwell, one of Sydney’s fastest-growing fresh food catering businesses.

We deliver thousands of meals daily to workplaces like Google, Amazon and Canva, but it’s our kitchen crew that makes it happen; and we look after them properly.

We’re hiring full-time Food Production Team Leaders –  and we’re open to people who already lead… or those ready to step up and grow into the role to lead a small team of 2-4 people in our fresh food production kitchen. You’ll be on the tools, side by side with the team, helping the shift run smoothly and making sure everything looks great, tastes fresh, and goes out on time.

This is a full-time, permanent job with set shifts. It’s not casual work. You’ll know exactly when you’re working, what your role is, and what’s expected. No last-minute roster changes, no chaos.

What the job actually involves:

• Making fresh food each day to our specs – we’ll show you exactly how
• Leading a small team of 2-4 during your shift, right there beside them
• Helping keep things moving, on time and calm
• Checking that food looks good and meets quality standards
• Keeping your section clean, organised, and safe

• Mon–Fri: 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
• Sun–Thur: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Sun–Thur: 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
• Split shift: Mon–Thur (4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.), Fri (2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)

4-Day Week Option

• Sun–Wed: 2:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Early Morning Shift

• Mon–Fri: 1:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Food Packing Team Leaders

Morning Shift

• Mon–Fri: 3:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Who we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment (e.g. prep cook, food production worker, cafe or restaurant back of house, sandwich or salad hand, food packer)
• Confidence to lead a small team during a shift or at least a natural leader who would like to lead a small team
• Good communication and basic English reading skills (you’ll follow written recipes and labels)
• A willingness to work on your feet and meet daily production timelines
