Jones Lang LaSalle had pastries sorted early for their team in Chippendale this morning. Two Pastries Platters landed in time for a 9am start, which meant the food was already out and ready before anyone had settled in properly.
There is something practical about pastries at that hour. They do not need plates, cutlery, or any kind of setup beyond being placed on a table. The team could grab something between conversations or while getting through emails, without the food becoming an event in itself.
