Even during this time of loss and mourning, there are a lots of people to be contacted, financial affairs to be put in order, and the funeral service and commemoration to be planned.

At Feedwell, we are here to make at least one part of this process a little easier.

As Sydney funeral catering specialists, we can take care of preparing and delivering all the food for your wake or commemoration, enabling you to devote yourself to the things that matter most at this unhappy time.

Whether it’s a large public event, or a small, intimate family affair, we can provide a range of healthy and nutritious dishes that cater for a wide variety of tastes and dietary needs, so that all your guests will have a selection of options to choose from.

A Wide Choice of Funeral Catering Options

We have designed our Sydney funeral catering menus so that it easy for you to cater for wide a range of guests with minimum fuss.

We create sandwich platters featuring a variety of fillings and bread types, including wraps and baguettes, with a mix of non-veg and vegetarian options as standard (we also offer vegan and gluten free options as well).

In addition, our salad range features a mix of classics, like Chicken Caesar and Tuna & Avocado, alongside our own signature creations, plus we offer a wide selection of finger food platters to share, featuring cocktail rolls, frittatas, quiches and filo pastries.

Our funeral catering menus also feature grazing platers and charcuterie boards, offering a mix of Australian cheeses, meats, nuts, fruit and more.

We also understand that at any size gathering of family and friends, there is likely to be a diverse range of dietary needs. 

Our menus are specially designed to offer an extensive range of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and nut free dishes, meaning that the food you offer will be as inclusive as possible.  

In addition, every item on our menu is prepared by hand in our own kitchens, using locally-sourced ingredients, so not only are all tastes and dietary requirements taken care of, you can also rest assured that you are providing your guests with healthy, nutritious and sustainable options.

Sandwich platters

You can choose from our extensive range of fresh bread sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and flatbreads, or opt for a platter featuring a mix of them all. Our tempting sandwich fillings are made by hand each day from locally sourced ingredients, with all platters featuring 20% vegetarian fillings (unless otherwise requested).

Salad platters

We’ve created an extensive menu of salad platters featuring a mix of classics, like chicken caesar and tuna & avo, as well as imaginative and exciting combinations of our own devising, such as our vegan falafel & beetroot tahini platter, and chipotle chicken burrito platter. We also deliver seasonal fresh fruit platters.

Finger foods

We can deliver to your home a finger food buffet featuring fresh frittatas, quiches, sausage rolls, filo pastries and more. You can order a platter featuring single items, or a mixed selection with a combination of them all. All our finger food items can also be ordered as individual meals

Grazing platters and nibbles plates

Our grazing platters and nibbles plates are packed with tasty treats that offer choices for all. Shared grazing plates feature Australian meats and cheeses, dips, pastries and more. Alternatively, opt for a veggie, antipasto or seasonal fruit platter, or select a nibbles plate featuring nuts, carrots, fruits and other treats.

Cheese Platters

Cheese platters are ideal for sharing at any sort of party. Our cheese boards feature delicious gourmet Australian cheeses, with fig-nut and water crackers, a variety of nuts, plus a mix of fresh and dried fruits. You can also add salami, ham and dips to create a charcuterie board.

Morning and Afternoon Tea Platters

If you are hosting a morning or afternoon tea, perhaps as a baby shower or for your book club, give your guests a treat with one of our platters. Enjoy a range of items, such as croissants, muffins, brownies, quiches, cocktail rolls, frittatas, filo pastries, fruit cups and yoghurt pots.

  • Where do you deliver to?

    We deliver delicious food to over 350 suburbs all over Sydney – simply enter your postcode or suburb in the section above called “Check if we deliver to you” to find out if we deliver to your suburb.

  • What precautions does Feedwell take with COVID?

    We have gone over and above the government requirements to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. We have a registered COVID safe plan with the NSW Government which includes strict requirements around sanitisation, wearing of face masks, quarantine, covid testing and self isolation requirements. All our staff including delivery drivers are fully vaccinated.

    If your company is not allowing deliveries at this stage to your premises, we offer contactless pick up from our store located at 56 Pitt St, Sydney also. Alternatively, we can provide delivery to your lobby or reception area for you to collect.

  • Is there a delivery fee?

    We offer free delivery if you order over a certain amount, depending on what suburb you are located in. For orders under these amounts, there can be a delivery fee which ranges from $10-$20 to make sure we can cover the wages for our staff, transportation and refrigeration to ensure your deliveries are on time, every time.   • Is there a minimum order?

    We have minimum orders for our corporate catering depending on what suburb we are delivering to. The minimums are fairly low so you shouldn’t have an issue reaching it. Simply enter your postcode or suburb in the section above called “Check if we deliver to you” to find out the minimum order amount for your suburb.

  • Can I get a quote instead of ordering online?

  • How do I order catering services?

    There are three ways to place a catering order.

    Option 1: Simply order online – just click through to the menu above for our office catering options. This is easy and convenient, and you can save all your delivery information for next time!

  • What is your cut off time to order?

    Our orders cut off at 4pm for next day delivery for the suburbs which are within our delivery zones.

  • Can you do last minute orders?

    We always try our absolute best to accommodate last minute requests for catering in Sydney. If you have a last minute order, please call us on (02) 9252 1982 as soon as possible.

  • I don’t know how much to order – can you help?

    It’s sometimes tricky to decide how much to order. Feel free to email us at orders@feedwell.com.au or call us on (02) 9252 1982 and we can give you some suggestions and help tailor make an order for you 🙂

  • Do you deliver catering services on weekends?

    We deliver delicious food in Sydney on weekends! For weekend deliveries, please email these to us at orders@feedwell.com.au or call us on (02) 9252 1982. The website will not allow you to select a weekend date so please contact us instead and we can process this for you. The minimum orders for weekends are as follows:

    • Saturday minimum order per delivery: $500
    • Sunday minimum order per delivery: $1,000
  • Do you cater for people with dietaries and allergens?

    We package dietary and allergy items separately with labels so you know what is what. However our products are made in a kitchen whereby ingredients such as eggs, fish, sesame, peanuts, milk, soy, nuts, tree nuts, gluten, lupin, sulphites and crustaceans are also used. We therefore cannot guarantee the complete absence of these ingredients and some products may inadvertently contain these ingredients and cross-contamination may occur. It’s important for customers with food allergies to be aware of this risk and we do not assume liability for reactions from the meal consumed.

  • Can I collect the order?

    Certainly! When you get to the checkout, simply select “Pick Up” as your option instead of delivery. At the moment collection is available from our Pitt St store in the Sydney CBD.

  • Can I cancel my order?

    Yes you can. However we do have some restrictions around this:

    Cancellations by 2pm, 5 business days before, will incur no fee.

    Cancellations by 2pm, 2 business days beforehand will incur a 50% fee of the total invoice.

    Cancellations on the same day will incur full charge and no refund. We have these restrictions in place as we are charged by our suppliers right after we place an order. Our produce and ingredients are always used fresh and we cannot resell it.

  • Is your meat halal?

    It sure is! The chicken and beef we use are both halal certified.
