The Komodo team in Leichhardt had a solid lunch set up with this one. Eight sandwich, wrap and baguette platters made up the bulk of it, which for a group that size means people can actually eat properly without hovering around a table waiting for something to come free. The crunchy chicken fattoush salad platter sat alongside it, and that combination worked the way it should, something handheld for people moving around, something fresh for those sitting down.

Komodo also ordered Biopak plates and napkins plus wooden forks, so the salad could be served properly rather than eaten straight from the platter. It is a small thing, but it means the food actually gets used the way it was meant to. Seven of each, matched to the group, nothing sitting unused at the end.
