The Arrotex Pharmaceuticals team in Macquarie Park ordered lunch for twenty people, and almost every single one chose something different. That’s not unusual for a workplace order, but it does tell you something about how the team eats. No one defaulted to the same thing.

The bowl orders dominated. Chicken Vietnamese Salad bowls went to five people, Mediterranean Chicken to four, and the Chicken Chipotle Burrito Bowl to two. From there it scattered across a Tuna and Cucumber bowl, a Caesar, a Smoked Salmon Green Goddess, a Hot Honey Ground Beef bowl, the Eat Your Fruit and Veg bowl, the Vegan Falafel and Beetroot Tahini, and a banh mi to round it out.

Each order was individually packed, which in a pharmaceutical office setting makes a lot of sense. People ate at their desks, at different times, without any shared setup needed. The banh mi was the only item that stood apart from the bowls, and it probably disappeared fastest.
