Marrickville Library hosted a session for the Marrickville Launchpad Youth program recently, and the food was set up to work across the whole group without fuss. Ten sandwich, wrap and baguette platters covered the bulk of it, giving everyone something familiar and easy to grab without needing plates or much thought about it.
The Chicken Vietnamese Salad sat alongside that as a lighter option, and the seasonal fruit platter gave the afternoon a natural finish point. What made the order function well for a youth setting was the tartlets. Twenty in a pack, easy to pass around, not messy. For a library space where you want things tidy, that detail matters.
Wooden cutlery was included throughout. Small thing, but it kept everything consistent and meant the team at Marrickville Library did not need to source anything separately on the day.
