Epping Boys High School had a busy one at their hall in Marsfield. The order was built for volume and movement, the kind of setup where people are grabbing food between things rather than sitting down to a formal spread.

Four baguette platters, five sandwich platters, and five wrap platters made up the core of it. That many platters points to a large group cycling through food at their own pace, which is exactly what that format handles well. The croissants, two packs of twelve with a mix of meat and vegetarian fillings, gave people something a little more substantial to pick up without needing a plate or much thought.

The two large fruit platters and the sweet and savoury grazing platter sat alongside everything else, rounding out the table without competing with the main platters. For a school hall environment, having fruit available in that quantity makes practical sense.

A lot of croissants disappeared quickly at events like this one.
