Lenovo Australia’s North Sydney office had a solid lunch order come through recently, and it was the kind of setup that makes sense for a busy tech workplace. The food was built around the sandwich, wrap, and baguette platter, which covered fifteen people comfortably alongside the veg and vegan sushi platter and two salads, the Asian greens and the Mediterranean chicken.
The tongs were included with the order, which kept things practical at the table. No searching for serving utensils when the food lands, people could just get in and eat. Drinks were split between Coke, Coke Zero, raspberry sparkling water, and the cold pressed orange, carrot, pineapple and ginger juices. That last one tends to go quickly in office settings.
Plates, forks, and napkins were all biodegradable, so there was nothing to wash up afterwards. For a fifteen person lunch that probably mattered more than anything else on the order.
