The Association of Independent Schools of NSW had a full day ahead, and the food order reflected that. Two large seasonal fruit platters went out alongside the fruit skewers, both the 10 and 20 pack, which meant fresh fruit was present in more than one spot across the Sydney office. That kind of repetition is usually intentional. Teams spread across different rooms or floors tend to graze at different times, and having fruit accessible in more than one location keeps things moving without anyone needing to cross the building for a snack.
The morning and afternoon tea platters, one large and one small, covered the structured breaks. Alongside those came the mini sweet tarts and the chocolate macadamia brownies, which are the kind of thing that disappears quietly over the course of an afternoon without much fanfare. By the time the day wound down, the order had functioned less like a catered event and more like a well-stocked day of meetings where nobody had to think twice about what was available.
The brownies were almost certainly gone before the sweet tarts.
