Compass Group’s Optiver office in Sydney had a solid midmorning order come through, and with a 10:30 arrival time, everything needed to be ready before the lunch window opened properly. That kind of timing puts the individually packed format to work in the best way. People could grab and go, no queue, no waiting on someone to slice or serve.
The bulk of the order leaned into the bowl format, with sixteen Mediterranean Chicken and Bimbimbap Poke Bowls split evenly across the team, plus four Vegan Mediterranean Salad Bowls alongside. The handhelds filled in around those, chicken BLT baguettes, Thai tofu baguettes, turkey wraps, pastrami sandwiches, egg and cress, and two gluten free options covering ham, cheese and mustard as well as a crunchy salad build.
The gluten free sandwiches being individually labelled and packed meant no one had to ask. That tends to matter more than people expect when a team is eating at their desks and moving quickly through the morning.
