King and Spalding’s office in Sydney received a grazing platter and a small veggie platter earlier this week, and the combination made a lot of sense for how their team was set up at the time.

The large sweet and savoury grazing platter did most of the heavy lifting. It’s the kind of order that works well when people are moving in and out of a meeting rather than sitting down together at once. People can pick at it across an hour without anything looking tired or picked over.

The veggie platter sat alongside it cleanly, giving anyone avoiding the richer grazing items somewhere obvious to go. It wasn’t an afterthought in the physical setup either, it held its own on the table.

Two platters, but the way they complemented each other meant the table never looked sparse.
