Simon and Schuster’s Sydney office had a solid spread of food going out for this one. Two platters of cocktail spinach and ricotta filo pastry were the backbone of the order, and they tend to be the kind of thing people circle back to. Paired with the cocktail rolls and chicken and mushroom pies, there was enough substantial finger food to keep a room moving without anyone needing to sit down for a proper meal.
The two Asian greens salad platters added something lighter to the table. The chicken Vietnamese salad bowl sat alongside those, giving the setup a fresher feel rather than leaning entirely into pastry and pies. The tartlets platter and seasonal fruit platter rounded things out toward the end, which tends to work well for offices that run longer afternoon sessions where people graze in waves rather than all at once.
The fruit platter in particular tends to go last, and when it does, it usually means the earlier food did its job.
