The Simon and Schuster team in Sydney kept things simple for this one, and honestly, simple done right is hard to argue with. A small seasonal fruit platter alongside a nine pack of chocolate macadamia brownies. Not a lot on paper, but the combination covered the room well into the afternoon.
The fruit platter tends to disappear quickly when it lands before lunch. People graze, come back, and by the time the meeting wraps up it is usually gone. The brownies are a different story. Dense, rich, and carrying that macadamia crunch, they tend to sit on the table until someone commits. Once one goes, the rest follow fairly quickly.
For a mid-sized office delivery, the two items together made sense. Nothing was sitting untouched by the end.
