The APP Group’s office in Sydney had a small but solid order come through recently. A Morning and Afternoon Tea Platter alongside a Seasonal Fruit Platter, both in small serves, which made sense for what looked like a compact team or a quiet day in the office.
What was practical about this combination is that the fruit platter carried through the whole day without feeling out of place. Fresh fruit works at 10am and again at 3pm, so having it alongside the morning and afternoon tea platter meant nothing sat there going stale by lunchtime. Both platters were sized to the occasion rather than oversized for the sake of it.
The fruit was the quiet workhorse of the two. Easy to pick at between meetings without making a mess or a moment of it.
