The Parramatta office of the Department of Education had a morning that clearly needed to move quickly. Two full assorted pastry packs alongside apple and orange juice set the tone early, the kind of setup that gets people through the first part of a meeting without anyone needing to leave the room.

What carried the order into lunch was the sheer number of individually packed sandwiches sitting alongside the platters. The gluten free chicken avocado options and the cheese and caramelised onion sandwiches were packed separately, which in a workplace this size makes a real difference when dietary needs have to be managed across a group. Twelve sandwich and wrap platters handled the bulk of it.

The vegan Mediterranean salad platter and two seasonal fruit platters gave the table somewhere to go after the heavier food. With 120 plates and napkins ordered alongside wooden forks, this was a group that needed everything to function without fuss. The fruit platters were almost certainly the last thing standing.
