Crusader Caravans had a big order heading their way in Rosehill this week. Twelve sandwich and wrap platters is not a small ask, and alongside two boxes of danishes, a mini lamingtons platter, and two seasonal fruit platters, it was clearly a spread built for a room full of people eating at the same time.
The fruit platters do a lot of practical work in an order like this. When sandwiches and wraps are moving fast across a large group, having something fresh and ready to grab keeps things feeling balanced without any extra effort. The danishes sitting alongside suggest this was not just a lunch drop, more likely something that started earlier and ran through the middle of the day.
The lamingtons are always the first thing to disappear at Crusader Caravans. Twenty five is never quite enough.
