The artist greenroom at Rozelle needed feeding before a session, and Belinda from Inner West Council had it sorted well ahead of time. Nine sandwich platters covered the bulk of the room, which made sense given the numbers moving through. Alongside those, a falafel and beetroot tahini bowl and a vegan Mediterranean salad bowl gave people a proper alternative to sandwiches rather than an afterthought sitting at the end of the table.
The seasonal fruit platter was the detail that tied everything together. In a greenroom setting, something people can pick at between takes or while waiting around is genuinely useful, and the fruit platter sat naturally in that space. It was the kind of order where the food matched the rhythm of the room.
