Wotton Kearney’s office in The Rocks had a full spread of people to feed, and the order reflected that. The cocktail rolls and chicken and mushroom pies went early, the kind of thing people reach for the moment they spot them, and the vegetarian curry puffs and filo pastry kept pace alongside them. Both platters were doing real work before the room had fully settled.
The falafel bites sat comfortably alongside the sweet and savoury bites platter, giving the table enough going on that people with different preferences were not circling the same two options. The seasonal fruit platter held its own toward the end, when the heavier bites had mostly gone and people were still grazing.
It is a practical order for a legal workplace, nothing fussy, all of it easy to eat standing up.
