The Australian Broadcasting Corporation had a solid spread of food going through their Ultimo offices this week. Seven sandwich platters alongside a Chicken Vietnamese Salad Platter made for a lunch that covered both the grab-and-go crowd and anyone after something a little lighter.
The salad platter in particular works well in a media environment where people are often moving between meetings or stepping away from their desks in short windows. It holds up over time and does not need much attention once it is out, which matters when there is no one specifically managing the food.
With seven sandwich platters in the mix, there was clearly enough to reach a decent headcount without things feeling sparse by the end of the service. That ratio tends to get the balance right.
